Marta restored the farmhouse in 2016 and still teaches most mornings in the shala.
Marta taught in Lisbon studios for ten years before she found a roofless farmhouse in the cork hills and decided to stay. She rebuilt it room by room with local masons and opened Quinta to guests in 2016. Her classes are slow and precise, with a lot of attention on breath and the hips, and she adapts every session to how the group slept and what the day holds.
