Booking terms
Last updated 1 October 2026
Sample text for the Quinta template. Replace it with your own terms and have them checked for your country before you publish.
These terms apply to every place booked on a Quinta retreat. They are short on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask us before you pay.
1. Holding your place
Your place is confirmed when your deposit is paid. The deposit for each date is shown on its page, usually between €250 and €500 per person.
2. Paying the balance
The balance is due 60 days before arrival. You can pay it in one or two payments. If you book within 60 days of arrival, the full price is due when you book.
3. Changing your dates
You can move your booking to another date once, free of charge, up to 60 days before arrival. After that, changes depend on availability and may cost a fee.
4. If you cancel
Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel within 60 days of arrival the full price is due, so please take out travel insurance that covers cancellation.
5. If we cancel
Dates marked Guaranteed always run. Other dates need six guests. If a date does not fill, we will tell you at least 45 days before arrival and refund everything you have paid, or move you to another date.
6. Rooms
Shared rooms are shared with one other guest of the same retreat and gender. Room types are confirmed on booking. Upgrades depend on availability.
7. Health and conduct
Please tell us about any medical conditions before you book. We may ask a guest to leave if their behaviour puts others at risk, without refund.
8. Hiring the house
Venue hire for private groups and visiting teachers is covered by a separate agreement. A 30% deposit confirms the week.
